Have you seen The Avengers yet? Hasbro has the toy licensing rights and they are cranking out some cool stuff. My son likes the foam Thor's hammer, but I'm a fan of Captain America's shield. It's a frisbee with a handle on the back so you get the full Cap shield experience!
If rough housing is your family's thing - be sure to check out all the Nerf toys also. They make cool foam dart guns, but they also have a line of foam swords, axes, and shields.
